Once the superstructure and hull were permanently joined the main focus switched to the interior, with the last of the bulkheads defining the various living spaces able to be installed. This, in turn, allowed the cabinet-making team, Dan, Lajos, Reid and Keith, to begin test fitting and installing the interior cabinetry that they have been busy working on.
This did not mean the exterior of the superstructure was being ignored. The following is a short list of just some of the jobs the team has completed: cockpit stairs and seating, anchor locker, belting made and attached, cabin top brow completed, topside cap rail timber glue laminated, shaped and installed and then everything glassed, filled, sanded and high-build undercoated...... so as you can see, Lloyd, Marty, Sven and the team have been very, very busy.

The whole team has made great progress on B72’s build; there is still a great deal to do, but we are now all, tentatively at least, starting to think about launch day.
